Movie Night on Elmwood Avenue, July 2007

Movie Night on Elmwood Returns

BuffaloResearch.com is proud to promote our favorite summer event in Buffalo, which has nothing to do with local history research.  In the absence of the beloved Cinema Sotto le Stelle, which is taking a well-deserved summer off from showing Italian movies, the Unitarian-Universalist Church and some of your neighbors have organized an alternative on Elmwood Avenue.

Contrary to BuffaloRising's otherwise lovely article, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo is this event's official sponsor.  We here at BuffaloResearch.com just made web space available for the schedule.

Join us at sundown on Fridays in July 2007 for silents & oldies, with picnics, friends, and the inimitable Elmwood ambiance.

Bring your lawn chairs early to get a good spot on the lawn between M&T Bank and the Unitarian-Universalist Church, Elmwood Avenue north of Ferry.   Movies start around 9:30, but we go by how dark it is, not by what the clock says.

We'll open each night with rarely seen short made-in-Buffalo documentaries.
